EYELINER

I offer three types of eyeliner services - Lash Liner, Shadow Liner and Classic Eyeliner.

Lash Liner, aka “lash enhancement”, is the most natural eyeliner tattoo service you can get. Tattooed directly on the lash line, once healed, it gives the appearance of open, more awake eyes and fuller lashes. Great for those who wear minimal to no makeup andare looking for a more every day look. A subtle wing option is available.

Shadow Liner includes the lash line tattoo but with a smokey effect on the lid. The pixels blend together when healed and the end result looks like a soft eyeshadow which creates depth and dimension. While also natural in appearance, this service can be customized to be as subtle or dramatic to the client’s liking.

Classic Eyeliner is most similar to a liquid liner and is more saturated and defined.

Colors used range from browns to black, depending on skin tone and lash color.
If you wish to use a different color like blue, purple, green, etc… please reach out to me beforehand for a consultation.

Lash Liner is $450 / Smokey and Classic Liner is $650.
A booking fee of $200 is required to book and will go towards your first session balance

Touch ups are a separate cost of $200 and are scheduled approximately 6-12 weeks from your initial session.

*All cosmetic tattooing will appear softer than a makeup product when healed.

A little about the process…

To create this effect, I use a tattoo machine. Unlike what a person may envision when they hear that, the machine I use differs from your standard tattoo body art machine. It runs on an electric motor and is quiet and gentle with minimal vibration.

Shaded and Classic Eyeliner are shaped and mapped at the time of the appointment using a variety of pencils, brushes, etc… This ensures the angle and position of the eyeliner is symmetrical and gives us an opportunity to play with shape. The lash line tattoo does not usually include any drawing as I use the shape of the natural lash area as a guide. In some cases we are able to tweak this shape.

The client’s eye will remain closed during the entire tattoo process. Occasionally I will request eyes open just to double check shape and evenness between the left and right eye. I use two topical anesthetics during the tattoo so there is minimal pain - believe it or not, many of my clients doze off at some point!

Afterward, eyes can appear a little puffy as though the client cried a little, however, it is usually minimal, and can last for up to 2 days. All of the images displayed above are taken immediately after with the exception of any healed work.

About Touch Ups

It is standard practice to return for a follow up appointment for all cosmetic tattoo services. Without taking into consideration individual characteristics, in general, cosmetic tattoos heal about 40-50% lighter than the initial application.

Here is an example of a very bold, visible classic cat eye tattoo. Top image is immediately after, which appears most similar to a black liquid liner. Second image is healed after one session.Third image is healed after the second session.

Even though I would say the healed results after just one appointment was very good, a second session allowed us to blend areas that healed inconsistently, created more visibility and reinforced the tattoo for a longer lasting result.

In both cases, it is apparent how much softer the healed work is compared to immediately after.

*Shaded/Shadow Liner will appear even softer as that style has a more diffused, gradient effect.

*Ink can heal differently from person to person. One client’s results do not guarantee another client will experience the exact same results. Touch Up appointments also allow us to troubleshoot and change technique, pigments, aftercare, etc… should the tattoo heal differently than expected.
